: Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant electricity supply to the petitioner's premises in S.C.No.PE249, situated at D.No.358, Pasuvanthanai Road, Kovilpatti.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to grant electricity supply to the premises belonging to the petitioner.

2. Even though the petitioner has sought for the above relief, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner confines his relief for a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner on 17.04.2013, pursuant to the directions issued by this Court in W.P.(MD).No.5771 of 2010, dated, 14.03.2013.

3. In view of the above, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to deal with the appeal filed by the petitioner on 17.04.2013 on its own merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of six (6) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the first respondent along with all the relevant documents and also a copy of this order.

5. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
