Respondents Prayer: This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to direct the 2nd respondent herein to provide adequate police protection not to prevent the petitioner to go to his farm through his own land compromise in S.No.339/7 Vellampatti Village, Vedasanthur Taluk, Dindigul in the light of Ad. Interim Injunction passed by the District Munsif Court, Vedasanthur, Dindigul District in I.A.No.449 of 2020 in O.S.No.112 of 2020 vide its order dated 26.10.2021 on the basis of the representation given by the petitioner dated 02.01.2022 within the time stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondents 1 and 2. 2.The petitioner appears to have obtained an order of interim injunction in I.A.No.449 of 2020 in O.S.No.112 of 2020 on the file of the District Munsif Court, Vedasanthur. The order was granted only recently on 26.10.2021. It is not known as to whether the private respondents have filed an appeal or applied for vacating the interim injunction. In any event, the petitioner can very well move https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P(MD)No.1812 of 2022 the very same Court for punishing the persons breaching the order of injunction. Civil Procedure Code provides for such a remedy. As and when, such an application is filed by the petitioner, the learned District Munsif Court, Vedasanthur is directed to dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks thereafter.

3.With this liberty to the petitioner and the aforesaid direction to the Court below, this criminal original petition is disposed of. The Registry is directed to mark a copy of this order to the learned District Munsif Court, Vedasanthur.
