ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders, to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to give adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State would submit that since there existed disputes between the two groups, one headed by the petitioner and other headed by the private respondents and that the matter was referred to Revenue Divisional Officer for conducting peace committee meeting and the same is pending before the Revenue Divisional Officer.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner has relied on the earlier order passed by this Court, in which his neighbor was given relief and in 2/5
that order, this Court has specifically observed that the petitioner has filed a suit and obtained permanent injunction in O.S.No.90 of 2014 on the file of the Principal District Munsif Court, Manamadurai. 4.Recording the said submissions, the Revenue Divisional Officer, Thiruppuvanam, Sivagangai District, is directed to conduct peace committee meeting and take a decision within a period of one month from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
