ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner/A4, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c) r/w 20(b)(ii)(B), 25 and 29(1) of NDPS Act, in Crime No.1186 of 2023, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the respondent police intercepted one Prabhakaran and recovered 1kg and 200 grams of Ganja from him and thereafter, based on his confession, the petitioner was implicated in this case. Hence the case. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner did not commit any offence as alleged by the prosecution and no recovery was made from the petitioner and based on the confession statement of the co-accused, he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State strongly opposed to grant anticipatory bail stating that the petitioner is having four previous cases of similar in nature.

5.Considering the previous antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
