This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to remove the damaged National Highways Toll Plaza building located at Sembadaiyarkulam, Perungulam Panchayat, Ramanathapuram, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 06.01.2024.

2. By consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents on instructions would submit that the authority concerned has initiated action for removal of the un-utilised tollgate. Therefore, there is no further order required in this writ petition.

4. Recording the aforesaid submission, this Writ Petition is dismissed. It is made clear that the authority concerned shall proceed further for removal of the entire structure in the aforesaid property, for the interest of the parties. No costs.
