RESPONDENT/ COMPLAINANT Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to extend the time granted in the order passed by this Honourable Court in Crl.O.P.No. 11552 of 2016 dated 17.08.2016. Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.J.SULTHAN BASHA, Advocate for AJMAL ASSOCIATES for the petitioner and of M/S.K.SUYAMBULINGA BHARTHI, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This petition is filed to extend the time granted to the petitioner in Crl.O.P(MD)No.11552 of 2016, dated 17.08.2016. 2.This Court, by order dated 17.08.2016 made in Crl.O.P(MD) No.

11552 of 2016, granted anticipatory bail to the petitioner and directed him to appear before the concerned Magistrate, within a period of 15 days from the date on which the order copy was made ready. However, the petitioner did not comply with conditions within the time prescribed by this Court. Hence, he has approached this Court by way of another Crl.O.P.(MD)No.934 of 2018 and on 22.01.2018, the said petition was dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to file a petition for extension of time. Hence, the petitioner has approached with the present petition for extension of time.

3.Heard both sides.

https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 4.The submissions made by the learned counsel on either side are considered. Earlier, on 17.08.2016, this Court granted

anticipatory bail in favour of the petitioner herein. Subsequently, till now, the petitioner herein has not produced any surety and has also not executed bail bond as directed in the order dated 17.08.2016. Now, according to the petitioner, he is taking Ayurvedic treatment from August 2016 to till date. In order to support the claim made by him, he had not submitted any document to show his bona fide. However, as of now, the case has not been disposed of.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this petition is ordered subject to the condition that the petitioner shall pay a sum of Rs.5,000/- [Rupees Five Thousand only] to the Mediation and Conciliation Centre attached to this Bench and the petitioner shall comply with order dated 17.08.2016, made in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.11552 of 2016, within a period of two weeks thereafter.
