Respondent Prayer: This Criminal Original petition is filed under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the respondent Police to file a final report before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Dindigul, in Crime No.181 of 2014 pending on the file of the respondent Police within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to file a final report in Crime No.181 of 2014.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that on 26.06.2014 at about 6.00 p.m., the petitioner's husband met with an accident and died and hence, a complaint was lodged before the respondent on the very same date. He further submitted that the respondent has registered a case in Crime No. 181 of 2014 for the offences under Sections 279, 337 and 304(A) of IPC, but, so far, charge sheet has not been filed.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent has submitted that the investigation is almost over and the final report will be filed within a period of three months.

4. Considering the fact that the above case is pending for the past four years for filing final report, the respondent is directed to expedite the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.181 of 2014 within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above observation, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
