ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for issuance of writ of mandamus to direct the fourth respondent to issue patta in favour of the petitioner.
2. I have heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court.
3. Today the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 would bring to my notice the proceedings of the Pudukkottai District Revenue Officer in Moo.Moo.930249/2023/E2, dated 05.12.2023, whereby, the request of the petitioner for patta has already been rejected.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner however submitted that the said rejection order has not been communicated to the petitioner 2/5
till date.
5. In view of the said submission, the petitioner is entitled to challenge the said order of the third respondent dated 05.12.2023 in the manner known to law. It is made clear that the question of limitation will not be put against the petitioner since the date of knowledge of the said order is only today.
6. The appeal shall be filed within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
