This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 as well as the fourth respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 05.11.2022, within a stipulated period.
2. The case of the petitioner is that he was appointed by the fourth respondent as a Proof Reader. Subsequently, he was promoted to the post of Sub-Editor and got superannuation on 31.05.2014. The grievance of the petitioner is that he received all the retirement benefits except four years of E.P.F contribution. Hence, the petitioner made a representation to the respondents on 05.11.2022. However, the same has not been considered so far. Hence, the petitioner has filed this writ petition with the aforesaid prayer. 2/5
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would suffice, if the second respondent is directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner, dated 05.11.2022, on merits and in accordance with law, within a specified period.
4. Since no adverse order is going to be passed, notice to the respondents 1, 2 and 4, is dispensed with.
5. Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 05.11.2022 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
