For Petitioner Mr.M.Prabu For Respondent Mr.T.Senthil Kumar Additional Public Prosecutor C O M M O N O R D E R [Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.] The present criminal original petitions seeking anticipatory bail to the petitioners are posted along with a public interest litigation in W.P.(MD) No.26526 of 2019. The learned Single Judge has passed an order in the

present criminal original petitions on 23.01.2020 stating that since the Division Bench is seized of the matter, directed the criminal original petitions to be posted along with the public interest litigation in W.P.(MD) No.26526 of 2019 and also granted interim protection to the petitioners.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent, on instructions, submitted that the investigation in all respects has been completed and by conducting an enquiry with the petitioners, final report will be submitted before the jurisdictional court.

3. In view of the above submission and also considering the fact that the present criminal original petitions are pending for nearly five years and further the connected public interest litigation in W.P.(MD) No.26526 of 2019 has also been disposed of by this Court by an order dated 07.07.2025, it is unnecessary for this Court to keep the present criminal original petitions pending.

4. Accordingly, the criminal original petitions are dismissed.

However, the petitioners are at liberty to move appropriate petition before the appropriate court for appropriate relief in the manner known to law, if required.
