Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records relating to the impugned order passed by the third respondent dated 11.01.2022, and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the third respondent to give adequate grant permission and protection for cultural event namely "Sri Valli Thirumanam Nadagam" scheduled to be held on 18.01.2022 at about 10.00 p.m. to 06.00 a.m in connection with "Thai Poosam Festival"

ORDER
Heard the learned Counsel on either side.
2.The petitioner has requested that he wants to hold the petition mentioned event on 18.01.2022. He is willing to hold the event on 19.01.2022. This is because of the new restrictions announced by the Government of Tamil Nadu from 14.01.2022 to 18.01.2022.
3.The second respondent is directed to grant permission to the petitioner to hold the petition mentioned event on 19.01.2022. The second respondent shall stipulate appropriate conditions to ensure the smooth conduct of the event and for adhering to Covid-19 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P.(MD).No.693 of 2022 protocol. The petitioner through his counsel gives an undertaking that the organizers of the event will adhere to the police directives.
4.Recording the said undertaking, the Writ petition is allowed. No costs.
