O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to register a case, based upon the complaint given by the petitioner, dated 22.07.2017.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that one Prabhu has conducted an un-registered chit, in which, the petitioner also subscribed a sum of Rs.16,000/-. But, after collecting the said amount, the proposed accused did not repay the same and hence, the petitioner has lodged a complaint https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

before the second respondent on 22.07.2017, but, so far, no action has been taken.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) has submitted that the complaint is still pending for enquiry.

4. Considering the aforesaid submissions, the second respondent is directed to expedite the enquiry and if the enquiry reveals any cognizable offence, he has to register a case and proceed in accordance with law.

5.With the above observation, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
