ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed challenging the order dated 07.01.2026 passed by the 3rd respondent to quash the same with a consequential direction to the 3rd respondent to grant permission to conduct welfare event at Lakshmi Marriage Hall, Palaniyandavar Kovil Street, Kovilpatti, Thoothukudi District, on 10.01.2026 between 10.00 a.m and 04.00 p.m in accordance with law within a time frame.

Since the date of welfare event scheduled on 10.01.2026 has elapsed, the petitioner is directed to submit a fresh application to the respondents seeking to conduct the welfare event and on 2/4

receipt of such application, the respondents shall consider the same and pass orders granting permission to the petitioner to conduct welfare event either on 19.01.2026 or after 19.01.2026. 3.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
