ORDER

This writ petition was filed for a direction to the respondent police not to interfere with the civil dispute between the petitioner and the fourth respondent. 2.Heard Mr.P.T.Ramesh Raja, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.A.Thiruvadi Kumar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 and Mr.A.K.Manickam, learned counsel appearing for the fourth respondent.

3.It is seen from the records that there is a business transaction between the petitioner and the fourth respondent. In the course of the said dispute, the fourth respondent seems to have approached the police and was pressurizing the petitioner to settle some amount. Aggrieved by the same, this Writ Petition was filed before this Court.

4.In the considered view of this Court, the police will have nothing to do with the present dispute and they should not be interfering with the civil dispute between the parties. Hence, it is left open to the petitioner and the fourth respondent to work out their remedy before the competent Civil Court without the interference of the Police.

5.This Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
