ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners, who are arrayed as accused Nos.2 and 3, apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act in Crime No.1 of 2015 on the file of the respondent police and hence, seek anticipatory bail.

2. According to the defacto complainant, the accused have demanded a sum of Rs.2,00,000/- and 65 sovereigns as dowry for marriage of the first accused with the defacto complainant's daughter.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners are no way related to the first accused and defacto complainant's family and they are innocent and they have been falsely implicated in this case.

4. Heard the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners, with certain conditions.

6. Accordingly, the petitioners are ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on their appearance before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Tirunelveli and on each of them https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and on further condition that the petitioners shall appear before the respondent police daily at 10.00 a.m., for a period of two weeks and thereafter as and when required for interrogation. The petitioners shall comply with the conditions stipulated under Section 438 Cr.P.C. scrupulously.

7. The petitioners shall appear before the concerned Magistrate within a period of 15 days from the date on which the order copy made ready, failing which, the petition for anticipatory bail stands dismissed.
