PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.482 of BNSS Act. PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.19 of 2016 on the file of the respondent police. ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent Police for the alleged offence under Section 489(B) of IPC, in S.C. No.163 of 2018, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The petitioner is arrayed as an accused in S.C. No.163 of 2018 on the file of the learned Additional District Judge, Sivagangai, for the offences punishable under Section 489(B) of IPC.

3. The petitioner was absent during the trial in S.C. No.163 of 2018, on the file of the learned Additional District Judge, Sivagangai. Therefore non bailable warrant came to be issued on 20.02.2020.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner undertakes that the petitioner shall appear before the Court below regularly on all future hearing dates without fail.

5. Considering the undertaking given by the petitioner, the petitioner is directed to appear before the learned Additional District Judge, Sivagangai within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and file a petition to recall 2/3

the NBW issued against him. The concerned Magistrate is directed to consider the same on merits and pass orders.
