ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition filed, under Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders, to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner based on the petitioner's representation dated 12.09.2022.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State would submit that the complaint given by the petitioner to the Superintendent of Police was forwarded to the third respondent and that though the third respondent has issued summons directing the petitioner to appear before 2/4

the third respondent, the summons was not served on him and hence, the same was affixed in his house.

3. At this juncture, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is ready to appear before the third respondent.

4. Recording the submissions made on either sides, the petitioner is directed to appear before the third respondent and on such appearance, the third respondent is directed to proceed with the enquiry in accordance with law.

5. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
