Side) appearing for the respondent.

2. The petitioners apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under sections 498 A, 406 and 506(i) of I.P.C., in Crime No.3 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.
3. The first petitioner is the husband of the defacto complainant. Their marriage took place on 10.02.2019. The husband is said to be employed in Rane Brakes, Madaganipettai, Pondicherry and he is said to be earning a sum of Rs.25,000/- per month. The learned counsel for the petitioner states that the first petitioner will remit a sum of Rs.5,000/-(Rupees Five Thousand only) in the bank account of the defacto complainant every month towards maintenance. He also undertakes to return all the house hold articles gifted at the time of marriage.
4.The arrangement regarding maintenance is only an interim one and it is always open to the defacto complainant to claim higher amount before the jurisdictional Court in an appropriate proceedings.
5. Recording the said undertaking, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners with certain conditions. Accordingly, petitioners are ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on their appearance before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Additional Mahila Court, Madurai, and on their executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and on further condition that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police as and when required for interrogation. The petitioners shall comply with the conditions stipulated under Section 438 Cr.P.C scrupulously.
6. The petitioners shall appear before the concerned Magistrate within a period of 15 days from the date on which the order copy made ready, failing which, the petition for anticipatory bail shall stand dismissed.
