This petition has been filed to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.432 of 2020 on the file of Thirupuvanam Police Station, Sivagangai District.

Mr.S.Chandrasekar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent, on instructions, would contend that the Inspector of Police, Thirupuvanam Police Station, after concluding the investigation in Crime No.432 of 2020, laid the final report before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Special Court for Exclusive Trial of Cases under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, Pudukottai in C.C.No.1 of 2021.
