ORDER
The present petition is filed by the petitioner seeking for a direction to the second respondent not to interfere in the civil dispute between him and the third respondent. 2.The contention of the petitioner is that his wife namely, Saranya committed suicide and that her father/third respondent lodged a complaint with the second respondent and the same was registered as Crime No.182 of 2019. According to the petitioner, though the third respondent had not even implicated the present petitioner in the First Information Report, the second respondent police is harassing the petitioner to return the jewels given as 'Seethana' to his wife.
3.Mr.R.Erottuchamy, learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), who accepts notice for the respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, would submit that the third respondent in his complaint which is registered as CSR.No.98 of 2020 by the second respondent, has stated that the petitioner though promised to return the jewels given by him to his daughter at the time of marriage, did not keep up his promise. He would further submit that the Police never harassed the petitioner.

CRL OP(MD). No.957 of 2021 4.Recording the aforesaid submissions, the Criminal Original Petition is closed with a direction to the second respondent not to interfere if the dispute between the petitioner and the third respondent is purely civil in nature.
