ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct second respondent to consider petitioner's representation dated 01.11.2024 on merits and in accordance with law and dispose of the same within a stipulated period forth-with.

2. The petitioner has got some property dispute with one Selvaraj, Head Constable attached to Thuckalay Police Station. For this dispute the petitioner has also filed a civil suit in O.S. No.76 of 2024 before the District Munsif Court, Kulithalai. On 31.10.2024 the said Selvaraj along with other persons had come to the house of the petitioner assaulted him and threatened with knife. The petitioner took treatment as inpatient but the respondent police failed to take action and on the other hand they started supporting Selvaraj and threatening that First Information Report would be registered against him. Hence he has filed the above petition.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the complaint given by the petitioner CSR No.825 of 2024 is pending. 2/5

4. It is seen that the petitioner and the said Selvaraj had some pathway dispute and civil suit is also pending . Further the said Selvaraj is a police Constable. In view of the same, the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Marthandam is directed to conduct enquiry on the petitioner's compliant which is pending in CSR No. 825 of 2024 and dispose of the same within a period of two months from the date of receipt of case records from the second respondent. The second respondent is directed to forthwith transfer the case records relating to CSR No. 825 of 2024 to the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Marthandam,

5. With the above direction the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
