PRAYER : Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, to punish the respondents herein for the act of contempt committed by him for disobedience of the order of this Court in W.P.(MD).No.15974 of 2021, dated 29.09.2023.

ORDER

The Contempt Petition has been filed for non-compliance of the order passed in W.P.(MD).No.15974 of 2021, dated 29.09.2023.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Advocate General assisted by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that as against the order passed in the Writ Petition, a Writ Appeal has been filed and the same is pending in W.A.(MD).No. 1219 of 2024. Out of the total compensation of Rs.5,00,000/-, Rs. 3,00,000/- has already been paid to the petitioner and the actual dispute now pertains to only the remaining amount of Rs.2,00,000/-.

3. Recording the above submission, this Contempt Petition stands closed. Subject to the final result in the Writ Appeal, it is left open to the petitioner to revive his claim.
