ORDER

The petitioner has applied for the post of Auxiliary Nurse Midwife/Village Health Nurse, pursuant to the Notification issued by the Medical Services Recruitment Board. The petitioner, with a grievance that though she has secured more marks, she has not been considered for the selection process, has approached this Court by way of this writ petition.

2. Today, when this writ petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Advocate General, by referring to the proceedings of the Medical Services Recruitment Board dated 02.02.2026, submits that 2/5

the Institution, where the petitioner had pursued the course, has not been recognized by the State and therefore, the petitioner's representation for considering her application has been rejected by proceedings dated 02.02.2026. A copy of the proceedings has also been furnished to the petitioner.

The learned counsel for the petitioner, by referring to the averment made in para 6 of the affidavit, submits that the persons, who have studied in the Christian School of Nursing, Dindigul, which has been recognized by the Board of Nursing Education, have been considered for appointment in the previous selection.

4. With this available data in para 6 of the affidavit, this Court is not inclined to probe into this matter. It is open to the petitioner to challenge the proceedings dated 02.02.2026 along with the details, if any that the persons, who have studied in Christian School of Nursing, have already been recruited by the Medical Services Recruitment Board. The petitioner is also at liberty to file an application under RTI Act to the respondents and the respondents shall furnish the details available with 3/5

them, within a period of four weeks from thereon.

5. Accordingly, this writ petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 09.02.2026 ogy Index : Yes / No.
