ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for quashing the FIR in Crime No.379 of 2017 registered on the file of the first respondent.

2. The defacto complainant Kalaivani is present in person before this Court. She has been duly identified by Thiru.T.Govinda Rajan, Special Sub Inspector of Police, attached to Sivagangai Taluk Police Station, Sivagangai District. The defacto complainant categorically states before this Court that she does not want to pursue the complaint. Since the parties have arrived at an amicable settlement, no purpose will be served in keeping the impugned https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.1743 of 2022 prosecution alive. The parties have also filed a joint Compromise Memo dated 28.01.2022. The impugned FIR is quashed. The Criminal Original Petition is allowed. The Compromise Memo shall form part of the order.
