O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to survey the petitioner's family property comprised in Ayanpunjai S.No.124/1, situated at Cheran Kovilpathu Village, measuring an extent of 0.43.50 hectares, by considering the online Application No.2024/0123/29/002310 dated 23.09.2024 submitted by the petitioner's father and the petitioner's representation dated 20.12.2025, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. With the consent of the parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that during his lifetime, the petitioner's father had submitted an online application for survey of the property in question and demarcation of its Page No. 2 of 5

boundaries and that the petitioner has also made a representation seeking action on the said application.

4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that after consideration of the claims of the parties, proper steps would be taken to survey and demarcate the land in question in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923.

5. Recording the aforesaid submissions, this Court directs the first and second respondents to consider the online application of the petitioner's father dated 23.09.2024 and the representation of the petitioner dated 20.12.2025, survey and demarcate the petitioner's land after consideration of the claims of all parties and pass orders in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In the event of any rival claims, the parties are at liberty to pursue their remedies before the Civil Court. It is needless to state that before surveying the land, notice shall be issued to the adjacent landowners and other interested parties, if any. Page No. 3 of 5

6. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
