ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to register the complaint of the petitioner, dated 31.07.2014 and to investigate the same in accordance with law.

2. Affidavit of the petitioner informs of settlement of the dispute and intent to withdraw the complaint. Under such circumstances, this Criminal Original Petition shall stand dismissed as withdrawn.

3. However, taking note of the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the petitioner had preferred a complaint of similar nature in the year 2003, which had been enquired into by the Additional Director General of Police who found no truth therein and that after very many years, the petitioner has again preferred a complaint in the year 2014. On consideration that the petitioner is legally qualified, this Court would dismiss this petition as withdrawn in the hope that the petitioner will not indulge in such actions.
