[Order of the Court was made by D.KRISHNAKUMAR, J.] This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant permission and to give police protection to conduct Bullock Cart Race scheduled to be conducted on 23.01.2024 at about 03.30 pm upon the petitioner's representation dated 10.01.2024.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents have brought to the notice of this Court that the representation of the petitioner dated 10.01.2024 has been considered and rejected by the third respondent.

3. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, the prayer sought for by the petitioner has become infructuous. Hence, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the rejection order in accordance with law. No costs.
