: Respondent/Complainant Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to enlarge the petitioner on bail in C.C.No.120 of 2021 on the file of the II Additional Special Court for NDPS Act Cases, Madurai.

ORDER : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition and a requisition letter submitted by the Judge, II Additional Special Court for Exclusive trial of cases under NDPS Act, Madurai, vide in D.No.273/2023 dated 01.07.2023, this Court made the following order. This case has been listed today under the caption 'for extension of time' to dispose of the case in C.C.No.120/2021.

2.By the order dated 27.03.2023, this Court directed the learned Judge, II Additional Special Court for Exclusive trial of cases under NDPS Act, Madurai, to conclude the case in C.C.No.120 of 2021, pending on his file, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of that order. Now, the learned Judge, seeks further time to complete the trial process.

3.Considering the reasons assigned by the learned Judge, this Court is inclined to grant further time and accordingly, three months time is granted.
