ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners, who are arrayed as accused Nos.1 and 2 in Crime No.230 of 2015 on the file of the respondent police, were arrested on 22.06.2015 for the alleged offences punishable under Section 8(c) r/w. 20(b) (ii) (B) and 25 of NDPS Act and hence, seek bail.

2. According to the prosecution, the accused were found in possession of 16 kgs. of ganja.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submitted that the first petitioner is detained under Act 14 of 1982. It is further submitted that the second petitioner is not having any previous case.

4. In view of the same, this petition is dismissed in respect of the first petitioner and this Court is inclined to grant bail to the second petitioner with certain conditions. Accordingly, the second petitioner is ordered to be released on bail on his executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Principal Special Court for EC and NDPS Cases, Madurai and on further condition that the second petitioner shall report before the respondent police daily at 10.00 a.m. until further orders.
