O R D E R

The writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant permission and protection for conduct "Thai Pongal" scheduled to be held on 15.01.2023 in Arulmigu Sri Pattavan Thirukovil at Kurumbur Village, Singampunari Taluk, Sivagangai District, based on the petitioner's representation, dated 26.12.2022 and 06.01.2023.

2. Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State would submit that the rival claimant one Chinnaiah has given a complaint and on that basis, CSR came to be registered and now the Thasildhar, Singampunari, has already fixed peace committee meeting today. (i.e., 12.01.2023).

4. Recording the statement made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the petitioner as well as the above said Chinnaiah are 2/4

directed to appear before the Thasildhar, Singampunari and the Thasildhar, Singampunari, is directed to conduct the peace committee meeting and pass necessary orders today (i.e, 12.01.2023) itself.

5. With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
