O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by D.KRISHNAKUMAR, J.] The present Contempt Petition has been filed alleging non compliance of the order dated 18.10.2022, made in W.P.(MD)No.23782 of 2022.

2. According to the learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, there is no encroachment in S.Nos.151 and 153, situate in LNS Village, Thirukampuliur, Karur Taluk, Karur District and there was an encroachment in S.No.152 and the same was also removed by the department on 24.11.2023.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner disputed the said fact and submitted that though the encroachment has been removed, again there is an encroachment in the property in question.

Mr.S.Santhosh Kumar, Assistant Engineer, Water Resources Department, Karur, who appeared before this Court, submitted that S.No.152 belongs to Water Resources Department and the encroachment in the said S.No.152 has already been removed.

5. Recording the same, this Contempt Petition is closed. If the petitioner is having any grievance, it is for him to work out his remedy before the appropriate forum. Consequently, the connected Sub application is also closed. No costs.
