appointment on 25.08.2021 and pay all the service benefits accrued to him by considering his representation dated 20.11.2024, within the period stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

The instant writ petition has been filed by a Junior Assistant working in the third respondent office seeking a mandamus for regularization of his service. 2.The petitioner's mother was working as a Maternity Aaya in the third respondent office and she passed away on 24.06.1985 while in service. Thereafter, the petitioner made an application seeking compassionate appointment and the petitioner was issued with an appointment order on 19.08.2021 and he joined service on 25.08.2021. 3.It is the contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner that he had cleared all the departmental examinations. However so far, his services have not been regularised. Hence, the present writ petition. 4.A perusal of the records reveals that the petitioner has so far not given any representation to any one of the respondents seeking regularization of service 2/5

or declaration of probation period. In such circumstances, the question of issuing mandamus as against the authorities would not arise. However, the petitioner is at liberty to give a representation to the third respondent within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On such receipt, the third respondent is directed to consider the same and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of 8 weeks thereafter. 5.With the above said observations, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
