ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/A1 who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under sections 498(A), 494,406 and 294(b) of I.P.C., in Crime No.31 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that on 25.01.2021 the petitioner along with other accused committed cruelty on the defaco complainant by demanding more dowry and this petitioner had received a sum of Rs.35,00,000/- and misappropriated the same and when the defacto complainant asked the money and jewels all the accused abused her in filthy language. Further the petitioner herein suppressing the earlier marriage had married the defacto complainant,hence the case.

3. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record including the First Information Report.

4. Taking into consideration of the facts that it is a case of matrimonial dispute and the fact that the petitioner suppressing the earlier marriage had married the defacto complainant, custodial interrogation of the petitioner is very much required in this case, hence this court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Hence the petition stands dismissed.
