ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the accused No.5, to direct the first respondent to expedite the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.36 of 2014. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that the first respondent has registered a case in Crime No.36 of 2014 under Section 174 Cr.P.C., on 30.01.2014 and subsequently, he altered the case to Sections 302 @ 120-B, 147, 148, 342, 302 and 201 I.P.C., r/w 34 I.P.C., but, so far no final report has been filed. He further submitted that since the First Information Report is pending against the petitioner for the past four years, the petitioner has lost the peace and hence the first respondent may be directed to expedite the investigation and file a final report at early.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) has submitted that the first respondent has transferred the case for investigation to the Inspector of Police, Karuppayurani Police Station and thereafter it was transferred to Anna Nagar Police Station, Madurai District and hence there is a delay in completing the investigation and he requests to grant six months time for filing final report.
4.Considering the aforesaid submissions, the Inspector of Police, Anna Nagar Police Station, Madurai District is directed to expedite the investigation and file a final report within three months from this date.
5.With the aforesaid observations, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
