Prayer in CRL MP(MD). 2329/ 2019 :

To stay all further proceedings relating to the orders passed in Crl.RC.No.9/2018 on the file of the Additional Sessions Court, Karur dated 25.06.2018 and M.C.No.36/2015 on the file of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Karur dated 07.11.2017 pending disposal of above Crl.OP.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.M.SUBASHBABU, Advocate for the petitioner and of Mr.BINDRAN, Advocate on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- Earlier, this Court by an order dated 15.03.2019, made in Crl.O.P.(MD).No.3950 of 2019 and Crl.M.P.(MD).No.2329 of 2019, directed the petitioner to deposit the entire arrears of the maintenance amount on or before 05.04.2019 and on such deposit, the respondents are directed to withdraw 50% of the deposited amount. Now, the petitioner has filed the present application seeking further extension of time for depositing the said maintenance amount.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner contended that the petitioner is not able to mobilize the fund. Now, he mobilizes the fund and he is willing to deposit the said amount and hence, he may be granted further two more weeks to deposit the same.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the fact that the petitioner is ready and willing to pay the entire arrears amount, time already granted by this Court is extended by two weeks from today (03.07.2019). The petitioner is directed to deposit the entire arrears amount as directed by this Court on 15.03.2019, on or before 17.07.2019.
