ORDER
This petition is filed by the petitioner seeking for a direction to the respondent police to file a final report in Crime No.43 of 2023 within a time stipulated by this Court.
2. The grievance of the petitioner is that though the petitioner lodged a complaint with the respondent police on 28.09.2023 stating that her husband as well as her in laws demaned dowry and also assaulted her on many occassions. The respondent did not take any coercive steps till date.
3. Mr.T.SenthilKumar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent, on instructions, would submit that the investigation in Crime No. 43 of 2023 is underway and the respondent police would file a final report within a period of six months.
4. Recording the said submission, the Inspector of Police, Thallakulam is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.43 of 2023 and file a final report within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this 2/4
