ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to register a case, based upon the complaint given by the petitioner, dated 04.10.2017.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is one of the Committee Members of Sri Periyanayaki Amman and Karuppan Temple situated at Thottamangalam. He further submitted that the proposed accused is also one of the Committee Members and he has collected Rs.80,00,000/- from the village people for the purpose of constructing temple and subsequently, he has misappropriated the said amount and hence a complaint was lodged before the second respondent on 04.10.2017. But so far no action has been taken. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) has submitted that the complaint is still pending for enquiry. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.Considering the nature of the allegations made against the proposed accused, the second respondent is directed to expedite the enquiry and if the enquiry reveals any cognizable offence, then he has to register a case and proceed further in accordance with law.

5.Recording the aforesaid submissions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
