O R D E R

The petition has been filed, seeking a direction to quash the proceedings in Crime No.72 of 2015 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Seevalaperi Police Station, Tirunelveli District.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, the learned counsel appearing for the second respondent and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the first respondent and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioners have been arrayed as A1 and A2 for the alleged offence under Sections 341, 294(b) and 506(ii) I.P.C. in Crime No.72 of 2015, on the file of the Inspector of Police, Seevalaperi Police Station, Tirunelveli District. The allegation against the petitioners is that they abused the second respondent/defacto complainant in filthy language and threatened to his life.

4. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, a joint compromise memo has been filed before this court, stating that the matter has been resolved amicably between the parties and also signed by the parties as well as their counsel. Today the parties are present before the court along with their counsel.

5. Considering the same, the proceedings in Crime No.72 of 2015 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Seevalaperi Police Station, Tirunelveli District is quashed.
