ORDER

This writ petition has been filed in the nature of Mandamus, seeking a direction to the first respondent to grant permission to the petitioner to conduct Hunger Strike on 24.01.2023 in front of the Sayarpuram Town Panchayat Office, Sayarpuram, Tuticorin District between 10 am to 4 pm by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 07.01.2023. 2.The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner had already changed the programme date to 15.02.2023 and he may be permitted to conduct Hunger Strike on the said date i.e., 15.02.2023. 3.Heard the learned Counsel appearing for petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents. 2/4

4.Considering the above, the petitioner is directed to give a fresh representation indicating the date and time of the hunger strike before the second respondent police and on such representation, the second respondent police is hereby directed to consider the same and pass suitable orders immediately.
