PRAYER IN W.P(MD)No.3460 of 2013: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to disburse the claim amount of Rs.16.83 lakhs with interest for the completion of Over Head Water Tank under "Vedasandur Combined Water Service Scheme" in Dindgiul Division, by considering the petitioner representation dated 01.10.2012 within a period stipulated by this Court. PRAYER IN W.P(MD)No.3461 of 2013: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to disburse the claim amount of Rs.3.

04 lakhs with interest for the completion of "Over Head Water Tank" under "Vedasandur Combined Water Service Scheme" in Dindgiul Division, by considering the petitioner representation dated 20.10.2012 within a period stipulated by this Court. For Petitioner : Mr.M.P.Senthil (In both cases) For R1 & R3 : Mr.R.Satheesh (In both cases) For R2 : No Appearance (In both cases) COMMON ORDER Both the writ petitions have been filed by two contractors, seeking a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to settle the amount due to the works carried out by them for the respondent board.

2. Now, the learned counsel for the respondents submits that the bill of both the writ petitioners have been settled. Though a lesser amount than the amount prayed for has been settled, the petitioners have accepted the said amount as full and final settlement. A letter adressed by the Executive Engineer to the Chief Engineer of the TWAD Board to the said effect has also been filed. The same is taken on record. Since the prayer in the writ petitions have already been complied with, no further orders are required in the writ petitions.

3. Recording the above said facts, these Writ Petitions are closed. No costs.
