ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by M.DURAISWAMY,J.] The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the first respondent to conduct a proper and perfect enquiry and dispose of the appeal dated 27.12.2019 with regard to issuance of Hindu Kattunayakkan Scheduled Tribe Community Certificate to the petitioner's sons, namely, M.R.Sabarish and M.R.Veerash within a time frame.

2. The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P(MD)No.1572 of 2020 that since the petitioner required community certificate for the education of his children, the first respondent may be directed to dispose of the appeal expeditiously.

3. Mr.V.R.Shanmuganathan, learned Special Government Pleader, taking notice for the respondents, submitted that the first respondent may be directed to dispose of the appeal within a period of three months.

4. Having regard to the submissions made on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, we direct the first respondent to dispose of the appeal preferred by the petitioner dated 27.12.2019 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
