O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent not to harass the petitioner and her grandchildren viz., Rajeswari, aged about 17 years, Girija, aged about 15 years and Sudharshan, aged about 12 years, unnecessarily against law under the guise of investigation in connection with Crime No.496 of 2015 on the file of the respondent police.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner's elder daughter is arrayed as accused No.7 in Crime No.496 of 2015. It is further submitted that the petitioner has not been arrayed as accused. The learned counsel for the petitioner also submitted that the petitioner having been not arrayed as accused, she cannot be harassed and even today, she has been called to the police station.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submitted that the petitioner is enquired to find out the whereabouts of the accused.

4. As the petitioner is not an accused, while enquiry being conducted, she being a lady, cannot be taken to the police station under the guise of enquiry.

With the above said observation, this Criminal Original Petition shall stand disposed of.
