COMMON PRAYER :- To enlarge the petitioners on bail in NCB.F.No.48/1/06/2021/NCB/MDU pending on the file of the respondent police.
COMMON ORDER : The Court made the following order :- Mr.C.Arul Vadivel @ Sekar, learned Special Government Pleader (NCB) appearing for the respondent submitted that on verification of call details, it was found that the petitioners frequently communicated with the co-accused and also submitted that the commercial quantity of contraband involved in this case. 2.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent submitted that On the earlier occasion, a direction was issued to the trial Court to conclude the trial process within a stipulated time. He further submitted that out of 11 witnesses, three witnesses have been examined and on that ground, he objects to grant the bail to the petitioners.

Crl.O.P(MD).No.1915 of 2023 3.The time stipulated to complete the trial process will be expired on 03.02.2023 and so far, no requests letter has been received from the trial Court seeking extension of time. It is also a fact that every EC Court is heavily loaded with NDPS cases. 4.The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the entire trial process may be ordered to be completed within a time stipulated, since the petitioners are students. 5.Considering the above facts and circumstances of this case, another two months time is granted to the trial Court to complete the process of trial. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
