PETITIONS FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec. 438 Cr.P.C. COMMON PRAYER : FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL IN CRIME NO.NOT KNOWN OF 2024 ON THE FILE OF THE RESPONDENT POLICE. ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners/accused, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent Police for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 506(i) and 498A of IPC in Crime No.Not Known of 2024 on the file of the respondent Police, seek anticipatory bail.
2.The case of the prosecution is that the defacto complainant and the accused No.1 are husband and wife. Due to matrimonial dispute that the first accused deserted the defacto complainant, hence, the defacto complainant made a complaint before the respondent Police. The petitioners in Crl.O.P(MD) No.780 of 2024 are in-laws of the defacto complainant. Thereby, the accused persons filed the present petitions, seeking anticipatory bail.
3. By the order dated 22.01.2024, this Court appointed Ms.N.Krishnaveni, learned Senior Counsel, as a mediator and she has taken effective steps for reunion of the first accused and the defacto complainant. In the result, the defacto complainant joined with the first accused and living in her matrimonial home. 2/4
4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that the defacto complainant is living with the first accused in her matrimonial home.
5. Since both parties are joined together, the respondent Police is directed to close the complaint given by the defacto complainant.
6. With the above said direction, these Criminal Original Petitions are closed.
