2. S.Kamalam ..2nd Respondent/Defacto Complainant PRAYER: This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to call for the records relating to the impugned F.I.R., registered by the first respondent herein in Crime No.156 of 2015 dated 08.04.2015 and quash the same.

O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to quash the F.I.R. in Crime No.156 of 2015 dated 08.04.2015.

2. The petitioners are the accused Nos.1 to 3 for the alleged offence under Section 366(A) of I.P.C., in Crime No.156 of 2014 on the file of the first respondent. The de-facto complainant is the mother of the victim girl.

3. When the matter is taken up today for hearing, a Joint Compromise Memo dated 16.07.2015 has been filed by the petitioners and the second respondent duly signed by the parties including the de-facto complainant as well as the victim girl. The learned counsel for the petitioners as well as the learned counsel for the second respondent submitted that the first petitioner has married the victim girl with the consent of the second respondent and the proceedings may be quashed. The petitioners and the second respondent/de-facto complainant are present before this Court and they have admitted the same.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also taking note of the compromise memo, this Court is of the view that this

is a fit case to quash the F.I.R. in Crime No.156 of 2015 pending on the file of the respondent police. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the case in Crime No.156 of 2014 pending on the file of the respondent police is hereby quashed.
