Respondents PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the second respondent, the Inspector of Police, Kallal Police Station, Sivagangai District, to give necessary police protection on 05.02.2018 for her third son's marriage to be held at St.Anthoniyar Church, Sembanur Village, Karaikudi Taluk, Sivagangai District on the basis of her representation dated 17.01.2018.

O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to give police protection on 05.02.2018 for her third son's marriage to be held at St.Anthoniyar Church, Sembanur Village, Karaikudi Taluk, Sivagangai District.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is having three children. The third respondent is the wife of the petitioner's second son and they are residing separately, But now they are giving threat that they will not allow to perform the petitioner's third son's marriage on 05.02.2018 and hence, the petitioner gave a representation to the second respondent on 17.01.2018, but so far, no action has been taken. He further submitted that the petitioner is ready to pay the charges if the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

second respondent passed any such order.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) has submitted that the dispute is with regard to the partition of family properties and the representation given by the petitioner is still pending.

4.Considering the aforesaid submissions, the second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation and pass appropriate order.

5.With the aforesaid observations, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
