ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed by a Record Clerk in District Employment and Career Guidance Centre, Madurai seeking a mandamus to revoke his order of suspension, dated 07.06.2024.

2. A perusal of the suspension order reveals that the petitioner was implicated in a criminal case in Crime No.35 of 2024 on the file of Sub Inspector of Police, Nagaiyapuram Police Station, dated 04.06.2024 and continued under custody for a period exceeding 48 hours. Therefore, the petitioner was placed under deemed suspension.

3. The petitioner has given a representation on 10.01.2025 to the 2nd respondent seeking to revoke the order of suspension. 2/4

4. In view of the above said facts, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 10.01.2025 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
