This petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the second respondent to register a case based on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 28.12.2017.
2.The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is the wife of one Suresh and the said Suresh has retained five sovereigns gold jewels and household articles worth about Rs.1,00,000/- and also cash of Rs.30,000/-. He further submitted that inspite of repeated request made by the petitioner, the said Suresh did not return the said property. Hence, the petitioner has sent a complaint to the first respondent and the same has been forwarded to the second respondent on 28.12.2017, but sofar, no action has been taken.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) has submitted that the petitioner's husband namely Suresh has already filed a petition seeking divorce. He further submitted that the dispute between the husband and wife and the enquiry is still pending. 4.Considering the aforesaid submissions, the second respondent is directed to expedite the enquiry and if the enquiry reveals any cognizable offence then he has to register a case and proceed in accordance with law.
5.With the aforesaid observations, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
