ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition has been filed to direct the learned Subordinate Judge, Kuzhithurai, for early disposal of the suit in O.S. No. 228 of 2016.

2. This Court, vide order dated 10.02.2026, had directed the learned Subordinate Judge, Kuzhithurai, to send a year wise pendency report of the pending suits and in compliance of the same, the learned Subordinate Judge, Kuzhithurai, had sent a report vide proceedings in D.No.190 of 2026, dated 20.02.2026, annexing the breakup details with regard to the pendency of the cases arising from the year 2016 to till date, which was addressed to the Registrar (Judicial) of this Court. From the perusal of the same, it is seen that the total number of pending cases is 243 and the pendency of the suits in the year 2016 is 04.

3. Considering the fact that the present suit is of the year 2016, the learned Subordinate Judge, Kuzhithurai, is directed to expedite the trial and dispose of the suit in O.S. No. 228 of 2016 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the aforesaid directions, the Civil Revision Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
