O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking the issuance of a writ of mandamus, forbearing the respondents from mutating the revenue records, which is sub judice in the final decree application in I.A.No. 13/2023 in O.S.No. 252 of 2004 on the file of the Principal District Munsif Court, Ambasamudram.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the parties and perused the materials available on record.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 and 2 submitted that the petitioners' representation dated 06.01.2025 will be considered and disposed of in accordance with law.

4. In view of the above submission, without going into the merits of the matter, this Court directs the respondents 1 and 2 to consider and dispose of the representation dated 06.01.2025 after taking into consideration the final decree application in I.A.No. 13/2023 in O.S.No. 2/4

252 of 2004 and after conducting an inquiry. Such inquiry shall include issuance of notice to the petitioner, respondents 3 and 4, and other persons interested in the subject land and considering any objections submitted by them. The respondents 1 and 2 shall thereafter pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law. This exercise shall be completed within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
